This is a new feature in CapaInstaller 5.7 where that you can choose a default DEP profile for all new Apple devices.
When a new device is synchronized to the Console, the device will automatically get the default DEP profile assigned.
How to Select a Default DEP Profile

- In CapaInstaller Console, navigate to System Administration
- Expand Software Account → Apple Device Enrollment Programs→ DEP server
- Expand Profiles and right-click on the profile you want to be the default
- Select Set profile as the default

When a new device is synchronized to the console then it will automatically be assigned with the default profile

How to View Which Profile is the Default

- In CapaInstaller Console, navigate to System Administration
- Expand Software Account → Apple Device Enrollment Programs→ DEP server
- Mark the Profiles folder
In the Profiles pane, the default profile has the value True and has a green checkmark on it

How to Change the Default DEP Profile

- In CapaInstaller Console, navigate to System Administration
- Expand Software Account → Apple Device Enrollment Programs→ DEP server
- Expand Profiles and right-click on the profile you want to be the default
- Select Set profile as default (the previous default profile will be cleared as default profile)
