If you're a PerformanceGuard administrator, you can view database and PerformanceGuard agent error logs in the PerformanceGuard web interface:
- Select ADMINISTRATION > Status > Errors.
- Select the required Interval (that is the period of time that you want to cover). If the predefined intervals don't suit you, select Custom to specify your own interval.
- Optionally, specify all or part of an error Name that you specifically want to search for.
Example: Use this feature if you know that the name of the error you are looking for contains the word initialization.
- Optionally, specify all or part of a Component name that you specifically want to search for.
Example: Use this feature if you know that the name of the component you are looking is InitApplication.
- Optionally, specify the Agent ID of an agent that you specifically want to search for.
- Select a minimum Severity.
Note that the logs use numbers to indicate the severity of each message:
- Informational: 0-10
- Use-related: 11-127
- Minor error: 128
- Severe error: 129
- Blocking error: 130
- Click the Search button.
You can view message logs from PerformanceGuard agents on individual computers this way: Select ANALYZE > Computers > Computer Search and search for the required computer. In the search results, click the name of the required computer and then select the Message Log tab.
