CapaInstaller 6.7.109 Release Notes

CapaInstaller 6.7.109 Release Notes

Release summary
This release contains security fixes, and we recommend that you carry out the update more quickly than for a regular maintenance release.

This is not a critical operational situation, but the release addresses identified security issues that, under certain circumstances, could increase the risk of unauthorized access or misuse of the system.

We would like to thank the TDC NET Security Testing and Advisory (STA) team for identifying and responsibly disclosing the security issues addressed in this release

Improvements in CapaInstaller 6.7.109

Optimized disk partitioning – Microsoft-recommended layout CapaInstaller now supports the Microsoft-recommended partition layout for UEFI-based devices when deploying Windows, creating the four required partitions (System/EFI, MSR, Windows, and Recovery) in the correct order with the correct sizes and file systems. This results in more robust installations, better support for Secure Boot and BitLocker, and ensures your setup is ready for future Windows updates.
Package Status Views An issue that prevented Package Status Views from loading correctly has been resolved. The view now displays package status data as expected.

If you need assistance confirming your current patch level or are running CapaInstaller 6.6 or older, we highly recommend contacting your technical account manager for guidance on how to update
