Create a configuration management point

Introduction

The following is a description of how to create a Configuration Management Point. The management points are created in the System Management plugin. From here there are managed for the user of them in Configuration Management. Creating a Configuration Management Point will deploy it to the management server. The following example is an example of creating a parent Configuration Management Point. The creation is done in a wizard, and the wizard will be explained during the creation.

Open the System Management folder, and right-click on this. Then select New and the following form will open.

Enter Name.

Enter Server

Enter Share name.

Enter the local folder.

Click Next and the following form will show:

Click on 'Enable Management account'

Enter the user name and password.

If you wish to use  'SQL Authentication', you should select it here.

Enter the user name and password.

Select how service files are copied to target Server

Select how framework files are copied to target Server

Select the source server

Choose an Icon.

Enter Change Description.
