View or modify current package assignments

Introduction

The following is a description of how to view or modify current package assignments.

When a package is selected in the navigation pane, the content view is populated with the units assigned to the package.

In the detail view in the bottom right corner, a list of assigned groups is listed under the Groups pane.

Unlink a package from a unit

Step	Action
1	Select the package.
2	Right-click a unit in the content view and click Unlink.
3	Add a comment and confirm the operation.

Unlink a package from a group

Step	Action
1	Locate the group and expand the group node. If you have the package selected, you can select the Groups tab in the detail view, select the group you wish to unlink, right-click it and select Go to. This will take you to the group.
2	Locate the package in the expanded list, right-click it, and select Unlink.
3	Add a comment and confirm the operation.

Uninstall a package

There are two requirements that must be met before uninstalling of a package
will be available from Configuration Management.

The package must have a uninstall script.

The package must have the status Installed.

Step	Action
1	Right-click the package and click Schedule uninstallation.
