Introduction

Power management in Configuration Management revolves around three types of objects

If you want to...	You can...
Create a power scheme	Open CM/Groups/System Groups/Power Management/. Right-click Power Schemes and click Create.
Create a power scheme group	Open CM/Groups/System Groups/Power Management/. Right-click Power Scheme Groups and click Create.
Add a power scheme to a group	Drag a power scheme to a power scheme group. Open the properties window of the power scheme group. Select a power scheme and time, and click add.
Add a unit to a power scheme group	Drag a unit to a power scheme group. Add the unit to the buffer and paste it on the power scheme group.
Remove a power scheme from a group	Open the properties window of the power scheme group. Select a power scheme and select remove.
Remove a unit from a power scheme group	Open _CM/Groups/System Groups/Power Management/Power Scheme Groups/_ click the group. Find the unit in the content view and select unlink.
