Introduction

The CapaInstaller Scripting Library provides a powerful set of software-installation functions that can be called from any VBScript. It provides many advantages compared to the standard technique of writing new, custom functions for every new installation project:

Pre-made functionality helps to ensure rapid development and deployment
Various scripts written by several different authors will be standardized and therefore easier to understand and share
The function set has been designed by experts in software distribution, therefore including support for all of the most common and even many less-obvious installation-related tasks
All functions have been thoroughly tested

The CapaInstaller Scripting Library must be installed on all client computers where you wish to run the packages you create using CIPC.
