Agent Configuration

A configuration is a set of parameters used to control the behavior of a group of agents.

Each agent is associated with exactly one configuration.

PerformanceGuard comes with two predefined configurations, one for agents running workstation operating systems, and one for agents running on computers with Windows server operating systems.

On their first contact with the server, agents on workstations will be associated with the configuration named Default configuration group, while agents on servers will be associated with the configuration called Default configuration group for servers.

PerformanceGuard administrators can create new groups manually.
