The events list lets you view events that have occurred on a particular computer.
To view the list, select ANALYZE > Computers > Computer Search, and search for a computer. Then, in the search results, click the name of the required computer, and then select the Events tab.
The list of events can potentially be long. You are able to filter the list based on:
- Event Severity: The severity level of the event.
- Event Category: Customized logical groups of events, a convenient way of grouping events into relevant areas of interest.
- Event Type: A predefined list of event types that PerformanceGuard knows about.
- Event Rule: Event rules control the triggering of events based on threshold violations. An event rule is essentially the combination of a threshold value and a location to apply the rule to. If any computer at the location crosses the threshold, an event will be created from each of the violating computers.
- Interval: The period of time from which you want to view events, for example the last 24 hours .
