🧩 How to Add a New Image in CapaSystems Cloud Updater
Follow these steps carefully to update your package with the new Windows image (for example, Windows 11 25H2).
Step 1: Edit the Install Script
In Capainstaller console, locate the CapaSystems Services Cloud Updater package.
Right-click on the package and select “Edit Installation Script.”
The script will now open in the built-in editor.
Step 2: Add the New Image Version
In the script, look for the line where the image versions are defined. should be line 75.
Add one of the following values depending on your language:
For English (UK):
W11.25H2 EN-GBFor Danish:
W11.25H2 DA-DK
Make sure the formatting matches the other entries exactly.
Step 3: Save the Script
After editing, save the script to ensure your changes are stored.
Step 4: Promote the Package
If your CapaServer is running in Production (Prod):
Right-click on the package again.
Choose “Promote.”
This step publishes your updated package for use. in the Production Point
Step 5: Link the Computers to the Correct Group
set the CapaSystems Services Cloud Updater package to wating and wait for it to finish installing
after installation, Go to the Groups section in the Capainstaller console.
Locate and verify that the group is automatically created for the new image:
Capawinupgrade -> W11.25H2Link the relevant computers to this group.
Step 6: Run the Windows Upgrade Package
Now, you can execute the WinUpgrade package as usual to start upgrading the linked computers.
