Welcome to Groups
Welcome to groups, where you can group endpoints and assign configurations.
To make it easier to assign and manage configurations with endpoints, we change the concept of the tags to groups.
Tags can still be used, but instead of using tags for creating relations between endpoints and configurations, the tags are used as “inventory,” where you can use the information to find endpoints.
Tags are migrated to Groups
All existing tags are migrated to the group concept automatically.
When migrating the tags we will automatically assign the configurations to the groups - said in another way, you don't need to do anything we are taking total care of the process.
Configurations
The user interface is changed for configurations, the functionality is exactly the same.
Enrollment
If you want to assign endpoints to groups we have added Groups to the enrollment page.
Under Enrollment settings it’s now possible to select groups, and then get the correct installations settings for the agent for the group endpoint group assignment.
