Permission Grant State Policy

Introduction

When you have installed an app, and start it for the first time, you are prompted to allow permissions to device features, like access to storage, camera, location, etc. With Android Permission Grant State Policy you can allow the permissions on an app, that ask for user consent. When you install an app and have created and installed the Permission Grand State Policy for that app, starting the app on the device, you will not be prompted for app permission. They have all been set by the policy. Typically you will allow permissions, but you can choose to disallow permissions.

Android Permission Grant State Policy

With this policy, you can allow or deny app permissions for an app.

This can only be selected for app approved in your organization's managed Google Play Store.

The device must be linked to an Android Enterprise.

It will work on any Android 6+ device enrolled as device owner or profile owner.
