To install CapaInstaller, you have to be aware of the different requirements for the individual components.


Prerequisites

CapaInstaller Agents

  • Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6


Setup Wizard, CapaInstaller Console, CapaInstaller SDK, and the Package Creator

  • Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5

Minimum Requirements

To install and configure CapaInstaller services a Microsoft Windows Server operating system is required. Both desktop and mobile platforms are supported as managed clients, please refer to the lists below.

To be able to restart computers and devices remotely, a BaseAgent is required on the computer. Older legacy agents will not recieve the restart request.
