Introduction

When you open an app for the first time, the user is usually prompted for allowing permissions to devices features like camera, location, storage, etc. With Android Permission Policy you can automatically allow or disallow when apps prompts for user consent.

Android Permission Policy

With this policy, you can automatically allow or deny the app user consent. Either allow or deny app permissions for an app.

This can only be selected for app approved in your organization's managed Google Play Store.

The device must be linked to an Android Enterprise.

It will work on any Android 6+ device enrolled as device owner or profile owner.

The Permission Policy

To create the policy and install it to a device follow the below step-by-step guide

Logon CapaOne for CapaInstaller

Select Profiles and click Create Profile

Select Permission Policy

Click in Support Platforms and select Android

Click in Permission to the select if you want the the default to be Prompt, Auto Grant or Auto Deny.

When all have been selected, type a name i Policy Name and Save the profile

In CapaInstaller Console, Configuration Management module, right click on Profiles and select Import from CapaOne

Select OK

Link the profile to the device and wait for it to be installed

Start the app on the device, you will not prompted for allowing permissions.
