Software Requirements

This document describes software requirements

To install CapaInstaller, you have to be aware of the different requirements for the individual components.

Prerequisites

CapaInstaller Agents

Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6
Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 6.xx (Are automaticly installed if using CapaOne Agent)
Microsoft Powershell 5.1 (Remember to upgrade Windows 7 Clients before Upgrade/deploying)

Setup Wizard, CapaInstaller Console, CapaInstaller SDK, and the Package Creator

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6

Minimum Requirements

To install and configure CapaInstaller services a Microsoft Windows Server operating system is required. Both desktop and mobile platforms are supported as managed clients, please refer to the lists below.

Please note:

CapaInstaller Security model requires Active Directory.
CapaInstaller is not supported on file systems that are case-sensitive.
