Patch Management child point
Introduction
A child point is created below the root point and displayed hierarchy in the GUI/Wsus console. It is possible to create multiple child points below a root point. E.g. "Standard Computers", "Standard Servers", "SQL Servers" etc. For a child point, it is possible to define approval strategy

In the WSUS database, the child point is named <group name>_GUID.
Right-clicking on a patch management child group gives you the following options:
Element | Description |
New | Creates a new patch management group, Create a Patch Management Group to learn how. |
Update auto-approval | Automatically approves updates to the patch management group immediately or scheduled, Approval rules to learn how. |
Delete | Lets you delete the patch management child point. You are asked to confirm this. |
