It is recommenced to stop the PerformanceGuard agent before upgrading AutoSteps.
Install the new AutoSteps version. You don't need to remove the previously installed AutoSteps first.
You can not upgrade if you are already running the newest version.
You will need a user name and password as this is also used for Windows AutoLogon when you have to upgrade the AutoSteps. The logon information is not stored secure on the computer.
