Assign CapaInstaller Administrator
This Active Directory group is added with read/write access to the folders containing the Management points.
Default Management Point
When set, this will determine what Management Point computers and devices will enroll in by default.
If no Management Point is set in an Enrollment Configuration for the device it will use the Default Point.
Agent Service communication ports
The agent service will respond to requests on these ports.
Patch Management Service communication ports
The CapaInstaller Console will communicate with the Patch Management Service via these ports
Performance Guard
The first three settings specify how long the different performance data should be kept in the CapaInstaller database. The fourth setting specifies the number of minutes, on the y-axis on the graph showing startup/logon times
General CapaInstaller Settings
These settings are general settings relevant across multiple plugins
Enable auto Search | The recent list will be cleared after each session. |
Show Units with Fully Qualified Domain Name | Units are shown with a fully qualified name/user principle name across the CapaInstaller console. |
Show Primary User Name In Computer and Device Name | The Primary User is shown as a part of the Computer or Device name |
Synchronization port
Synchronization services use this port to communicate in internal network environments
Synchronization Settings
With more than one server requesting the same package it is advisable to reuse the compressed files. This means that a package after being compressed and transferred to the requesting server remains on the source server for a specified period of time before being deleted.
You can specify how long the compressed files are kept. On re-request, the lifetime of the compressed file is reset to the initializing value.
Since this approach can cost extra free space on the source server, you can also specify a minimum free space to remain free. If the amount of free space falls below the threshold, the reuse of compressed files is disabled.
Agent user access
Since distribution servers are often installed as stand-alone servers, the agent cannot connect with its LocalSystem credentials, and therefore needs additional credentials to access shares.
Enabling “agent user access”, will allow the agent to connect to the shares with the specified local user credentials. This user account will be created on the distribution server and granted rights to access necessary files and shares during the deployment of the distribution server.
You must manually ensure that the user exists or is added to the "CapainstallerAgents" group on existing Distribution Servers.
AMT Settings
In order to perform AMT operations, credentials for AMT must be configured. A username and password that match the configurations on the AMT enabled machines must be supplied. The checkbox below these credentials determines whether or not the replicator will attempt to use AMT in the wake on lan requests it receives. The replicator will always send a standard WOL package on these requests, and will in addition to this, attempt an AMT WOL if this setting is enabled.
Wake on LAN settings
Choose what port should be used by services sending Wake On LAN Requests, if not set the default port (40000) is used
Notification Settings
Here you can specify which parts of the system should be monitored by the "System Health" task. If disabled, no notifications will be created for that part of the system.
Self Service
Here you can specify the url for the Self Service Portal and enable token authentication for devices and users when using Self Service
