Introduction

In order to ensure all CapaInstaller Console installations run on the same version an Update Detection system is implemented. This is done to prevent damage to the system and to raise the overall stability when working with CapaInstaller.
 
When a new patch is applied to the system the version of the console is registered in the database. When the console is launched it will validate its assembly version against the version registered in the database. If the version in the database is higher the application will exit with the following message box.
 

 
You will not be able to continue before the installation is updated. This is done by running the setup on the affected machines.
