What's New in the Server?

PerformanceGuard 7.3 introduces a new widget:

Network Latency Widget

Scout

This version is supported in both Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 as well as Google Chrome.

We recommend using Google Chrome when accessing PerformanceGuard, because this browser is much faster than Internet Explorer 11

Installation and Upgrades

If upgrading from PerformanceGuard 6.6 or earlier the following is required:

• Upgrade of the Java SE Development Kit to version 8. 
  • This can be downloaded from here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
• Microsoft .Net 4.0 or higher

If upgrading from PerformanceGuard 6.7 or later:

• Two web server ports instead of previously one port
  • Used for embedding the parts of the UI that have not yet been replaced by new functionality

Documentation 

The PerformanceGuard documentation is continuously updated and is available online at http://help.capasystems.com.

Within PerformanceGuard, the documentation is available via content-aware links, and updates to the documentation no longer requires an upgrade of the PerformanceGuard software.
