CapaBitLocker v4.0 - Computer Packages

The package is optional and can be used to activate BitLocker Recovery Mode on the operating system drive

The package schedule must be enabled, and the gbAllowRecoveryModeActivation variable must be set to True, before using the package

You will need the BitLocker Recovery Key to proceed from Recovery Mode

The package can be used to prepare the TPM chip

If the TPM chip is ready for encryption when the package is installed, no changes are made

Depending on the “physical presence” settings in the BIOS, changes to the TPM chip might require acceptance on the following reboot

The package can be used to suspend BitLocker on the operating system drive

Data drives does not support the -RebootCount parameter, meaning that BitLocker is suspended until resumed manually. To avoid scenarios where data drives are left unintentionally unprotected, CapaBitLocker only support suspension of the operating system drive
