CapaWinUpgrade - Computer Packages

To fully utilize CapaWinUpgrade, endpoints must be able to communicate with the CapaOne API.


CapaWinUpgrade - Bypass Hardware Requirements

This package is optional and can be used to bypass some of the hardware requirements for Windows 11.

Bypasssing the hardware requirements may lead to unexpected system behavior.

CapaWinUpgrade - Check PreRequisites

This package is optional and can be used to determine if endpoints are ready for in-place upgrade.

CapaWinUpgrade - Download Content Package

This package is optional and can be used to predownload (cache) the in-place upgrade files.

CapaWinUpgrade - Force Upgrade

This package can be used to force an in-place upgrade without prompting the user.

CapaWinUpgrade - Force Upgrade with Reboot

This package can be used to force and in-place upgrade without prompting the user.

The package reboots on-demand and the dynamic installation screen may not work correctly.

CapaWinupgrade - Post Upgrade

This package is automatically linked when an in-place upgrade is complete, to determine if the upgrade was successful or not.

Do not link or install this package manually.

CapaWinUpgrade - Publish Upgrade

This package can be used to publish the in-place upgrade option in the CapaInstaller InfoCenter.

It enables the users to initiate the upgrade when it suits them.

CapaWinUpgrade - Push Upgrade

This package initiates an in-place upgrade, prompting the user to start the upgrade.

In most scenarios, this is the package you should use

CP CapaWinUpgrade - Service Files

The package contains the scripting library and various other files, that are used by all the other packages.

The package schedule is disabled by default and cannot be installed as a normal package.
