Utilization Index Measurements
- Martin Moghadam
Utilization index is a value between 0 and 100 that describes the usage (load) of different dynamic values. Default enabled. Send reports every 900 Sec. (15 Min.).
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Memory | Index (0-100) of physical memory used, not including reserved or cached memory. |
CPU | Index (0-100) of CPU cycles used of the total cycles available over all the cores. (0-100) |
Disk | Index (0-100) of the number of disk read/write operations compared to the maximum observed amount of operations. The previously observed maximum value is used as a baseline, and this number is reset when the PerformanceGuard agent is started. This means that it's perfectly normal that the computer is having a disk utilization index close to 100 while starting. |
Net | Index (0-100) of network bandwidth used compared to the maximum rating of the current Network Interface Card (for example1 GB if a LAN is used). The maximum bandwidth may change if network changes take place, for example switching between LAN and WiFi networks. |
