Introduction
The following is a description of the data explaining where they are born in the system.
Element | Description |
Users | Users are created when they log on to a CapaInstaller managed computer. |
Computers | Computers can be created and the agent deployed from the Console. |
Departments | Departments are created in the Configuration Management plugin. |
Software | Software is collected on the computers, if they are placed under Add/Remove Programs. They can also be collected from the Discovered Files if a name has been defined for the executable file. |
Printers | Printers can be created from the New Unit or added from AD from Configuration Manager. |
Other devices | Other devices such as scanner, PDA, camera, fax, routers, etc. can be created from the New Unit. |
Licenses | Licenses are entered on the application group, software, or Citrix software and can be entered pr. Software or pr. Department. |
