Troubleshooting Management Portal - Re-Install

 Problem

When user is selecting re-install from the management portal an error occurs “Re-Install is not configured”

 Solution

Promote Point Configuration to OSD child points

  1. Right click on OSD dev (Parent point) and select Promote

  2. Expand Deployment Point and set a checkmark in Point Configuration

  3. Once promote, log out of Management Portal and login again. Try to re-install the device. You should be able to select the Install type now

 

Make sure that you have enabled deployment templates in OS Point configuration and set the correct deployment point and server
