New Features in CapaInstaller 6.7

 

PowerPacks has been upgraded to use .NET Desktop runtime 8.0.0, which is now required to use with PowerPacks.

We recommend that you deploy .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.0 before upgrading CapaInstaller. After upgrading CapaInstaller, if you do not have any other applications requiring .NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.0, you can safely uninstall the 6.0.0 version from all your devices.

We have improved the signing of .exe, .msi, and .dll files in CapaInstaller.

In some instances, the system clock in the BIOS may be incorrect, which can cause issues for users relying on HTTPS during OSD (Operating System Deployment).

A fix has been implemented to address this issue.

But it requires you to rebuild your boot.wim file after applying the latest CapaInstaller patch.

  • Fixed CapaOne dashboard link.

  • Fixed an issue where CapaInstaller wouldn't send Statistics after re-establishing a connection with CapaOne.

  • Fixed an issue where the PowerPack Message Box wouldn’t show before restarting the InfoCenter.

  • Fixed an issue where 2 Service tree structures would appear after a new installation of CapaInstaller.

  • Fixed an issue where products would not work on a contract's expiration date.

Update

CapaOne Agent Update:

We have improved the CapaOne agent in CapaInstaller so that the agent will not install if OrgKey is missing from the configuration. This should prevent the installation of agents that will never come online due to a missing OrgKey.
