When you purchase iOS devices, the reseller sends information to Apple and the devices will appear in the Apple Business Manager.

The default MDM server can be set for a specific type of device. All activated devices will be assigned to the specified MDM server.

  1. Open Apple Business Manager
  2. Navigate to Settings and select Device Management Settings
  3. In the Default Device Assignment, click on the drop-down menu and select the default MDM server for each device
  4. Click Apply and Done
