You can only do this if you're a PerformanceGuard administrator.
Before you can measure how your applications perform, you must define them ADMINISTRATION > Network Applications.
PerformanceGuard distinguishes between these kinds of applications:
- Client/Server Applications
- The Client/Server Applications are defined by a Servers/Ports combination.
See more about the Concepts and Terminology of key concepts, like ports, servers, service groups and applications.
- Web Applications
- The Web Applications are defined by a transaction filter (that is monitoring of web requests).
- Application Groups
- Which is a group of itself or either Web applications or Client/Server Applications
