The Process List Widget displays resource usage by Processes for a selected computer with all the available metrics in a specific time period. It provides information about all the currently running processes including their process identification numbers (PID).
If you are allowed to manage widgets, you can have one Process List Widget per computer on your dashboard for a parallel comparison. You can use this widget to find out which processes are using resources more than the others.
The widget displays information in a simple format that you can "Share" among others or "Save as PDF", simply click .
Set Up the Widget
When you're ready to add the widget to a dashboard, you simply select the required information in the widget setup menus.
- PerformanceGuard has some parameters that are already defined. Select from the listed parameters that will show you the information including process names, CPU usage, memory, handles etc among many others.
Example: Click thumbnail to view image in full size. Based on your parameter's selection, the widget displays only them. So you can choose yourself which columns you want to be appeared in the Widget.
- You also have the option to hide or display row numbers in the widget.
- Click APPLY.
Select what You Want to View
Your PerformanceGuard administrator has typically set up the widget to display the parameters.
When that's the case, you can simply use the Computer menu in the top part of the dashboard to view the information for selected Time Period.
You can sort the displayed list of processes by Ascending and Descending - simply click on the parameter.
