Windows Authentication for PerformanceGuard Services

You can only do this if you're a PerformanceGuard administrator.

In earlier versions of PerformanceGuard you needed to go through multiple steps to set up Windows authentication for PerformanceGuard services (so that they get single sign-on access to the SQL Server databases). You even needed to edit SQL Server properties, Windows Registry and PerformanceGuard configuration files.

In this version of PerformanceGuard the process is much easier, because it's handled as part of the installation.

The only thing you should be aware of is this:
The service account used for Windows Authentication must have full rights to the registry on the PerformanceGuard server.
